SMALL HOSE NEAR THERMOSTAT/WATER PUMP

I have a pin hole in the hose running back towards the engine ...small hose comes off the thermostat housing i believe.......whats involved in getting to that hose........1993 KA24DE DOHC S13..........i had originally thought it was the hose going through the intake but it is not it is the small hose under it....or the next one you see if your looking that direction.....sorta looks like it runs down toward the starter,which is going to be replaced also ....just wondering if i could get to that hose easier while i have the starter [email protected]

I have verified its the small hose going towards the engine off the thermostat housing. where does it connect? and how do i get to it?
