Gents,

Got the swap all done, car runs like a champ. the throttle body pully was a bit bent from the previous owner though, so the cable would bind when going over 50% throttle.

bought a whole new TB from a guy on here, and noticed my plugs are different. did a LOT of searching and found that one of the plugs is for auto trans. the other is TPS. well my TPS plug is different.

I tried to change the TPS plug, but they are totally different. one is a D shape, the other has a bar that goes across. so there is no possibility of changing them either

Old throttle body-

Current plugs on the harness-

New throttle body-

The whole car just for fun-

So now i dont know what to do. cut the plugs off the harness, and put new ones on? but where would i find said plugs?

take this throttle body off, and put a q45 on or something? id have to run an s-afc to toon it though.

also, when i had the old throttle body on, i had to cut and weld the throttle cable bracket. the new throttle body doesnt line up the same, so the cable is at a very weird angle. where can i get a different bracket?

sorryfor all the questyions, just ready to get this b**** back on the road!

The Q45's TB is nice but it's really sensitive compared to the stock RB25's TB.It accelerates the same amount with the throttle turned less.

That second TB is from a series II. I can get you the plugs, or just an series I TB if you want--email me if so.
