I was taking an exit ramp about 25 mph in my 89 240 with slick roads when I felt like I was losing it. I stayed on the gas so my rear wouldn't kick out, trying to avoid doing some 360's and having someone hit me, but she started to plow. I plowed my driver side front wheel into a curve at about 20 mph. The wheel was puched back into the wheel-well causing it to scrape the back of the fender, so I couldn't drive it. I thought about it and put my spare tire on, so I would have more room and hopefully be able to drive it to my mechanics place, 20 min away, a trip that took about an hour going 20 mph. It worked, so I didn't need to call a tow truck. I beleive the sway bar is broken and maybe the control arm, but I'm not sure. The thin bar that connects to the front bumper is twisted up and the metal bar that connects to the braking system is snapped off (I think the sway). Anyone have any idea what parts I'm talking about? Any idea how much the damage will be? If its over 500 I'll probably have to junk it

I've had her for 5 years and she just turned 200k........I hope it won't be much

:(:(:(
sorry for the pics they are from my camera phone
This is the bar that broke off-I think the sway
