Sliding around, my rear passenger side whacked a high curb. Now, I have a nice amount of positive camber, a bent up lower control arm, and a cracked lateral link. damn. it seems like everytime you start having some fun, it ends up costing you money.

i'm just wondering if i'm limited to the dealer for a new lower control arm and lateral link. maybe i should just save money and take the links off myself and bend them back...but i don't know if they'll be weakened or not. don't know if i should drive on it either, with the cracked lower link....

i know this has happened to at least a couple of you. how was the damage?

this happened to me a couple weeks ago. i bought a lower control arm, tie rod, and new shock assembly just in case. but i only needed the control arm. also i need one rim because mine is cracked, but i can still drive on it fine. im waiting for my rim to get my alignment done. try to hit up some junkyards, they are bound to have those parts.

man i would not drive on that, the lower arm is definatly weekend.

SPL parts has upgraded replacements for both but the lower arms are pricey.. I'd go Jyard for those and either SPL or PDM for the effedup link.

Goodluck man, sorry for the headaches.. but its part of the game.

OUCH! yeah, i agree with Cyber, SPL and PDM can help, but its $$$pricey, i'd check into a local junkyard first. Good luck!:)

but i have an s14. it seems pdm only has parts for the s13, unless i missed one. gotta check one more time.

see, the thing is, my lateral link is pretty much straight now. the picture shows it as almost straight, but that picture is after i put the jack under it and bent it straight again. that link was V-shaped before. i still have a fair amount of positive camber....

i guess i'm gonna stop by the dealer tomorrow...hope they're open on saturdays! :P thanks for the help guys.
