sluggish rb20de

hi i have a 1990 240sx and was planning to swap the original enginge for a rb20de but a friend told me these engine are very sluggish because he have a skyline with that engine and the car performs badly. so i would like to know can this problem be solve,how and whats the cost to have it performing at tip top shape. thanks

don't waste the time and money. If your intention is to go NA RB get the biggest mill you can, RB25 or RB26.

na rb25 could be loads of fun revving out to 7k.

thanks for ur advice maybe i'll get me sr20det instead . but still i'd like to know the problem and how to fix it to help out my friend it's really becoming a pest
