sluggish from complete stop and erratic starting issues

My car is running extremely sluggish from take off. The car picks up speed slower than it should. Once the car is rolling it accelerates pretty good but from a complete stop, is where my problem persists. Also, from a complete stop, if I mash the gas too hard the car loses spark.

I also have a starting issue. While making daily runs, the car will intermittently shoot up to about 1800 RPM when starting. If I cut the car off and restart it immediately, it will go to its regular idle RPMs. The starting issue only happens in warmer weather. I do not have this erratic starting issue in the winter. Has anyone had these issues?

If you dont have any codes, it could be a mass airflow sensor issue, a throttle body issue, or maybe a camshaft sensor issue.
If you do have a check engine light, you need to pull the codes and post what they are.
