Slow to Start - Q45

I'm not a car expert like many on this board. I have a question that may be simple to answer - I just don't know. I just bought a 98 Q-45. It's driving well but it there is a small delay when I start her up. It sounds for a minute like it's not going to turn over but it does. Any insight?

I've had the car inspected and some routine and recommended maintenance done but nothing specifically for this issue.

Any help would be appreciated!

So it just doesnt fire as soon as you think it should??? Very interesting... There was a TSB on this on the Y33 (97-01 Q) and it states that you should press the gas 3/4 way down wihle starting.....

Try that..

Does it only do it when its cold, or any time?
