slow moving tach?

i installed the rb tach into the ka cluster and wired it up right but it now only moves real slow up and down. anyone have an idea?

The shaft could be eithe bent or the tach is defective. If it moves freely by your hand, then it's probably the latter.

when if first swapped out my tach with one from an older junkyard car it moved slowly. after a while of using it, it works fine now.

when I did my swap at first it was like that. Don't really know if its still like that since I havent payed attention to it.
