Ive been noticing the past few days that my boost is creeping up to the 8 lb spring limit. when before id hit it somewhat fast then boost creep past it to about 11lbs. ive got a t3 super 60 and a tubular manifold. tial 38mm wastegate w signal on the compressor side. i get about 23 lbs of vac so i dont think im getting a leak anywhere. i am burning oil im not sure if its the turbo or the rings yet, have to test. i have a -3an feed line should i restrict it more? any ideas?

oh ya no boost controller yet either. ive left the top nipple of the wastegate unpluged.

You may have a boost leak between the turbo and the throttle, but that would likely cause a rich condition and perhaps open atmo BOV-like conditions. Or you could have a leak in the exhaust before the turbine. If you are burning oil, your bearings may be shot and not allowing the turbo to spin as freely. Check the shaft play.

It also shows the Tial pressure line ran from right in front of the TB... ATPTurbo.com has a 1/4 vacuum nipple that attaches on the silicon coupler to accomplish this.

BTW ATPTurbo ships stuff out super fast... I get things in 2 days tops... Awesome place.

ill check that out red... i think my turbo seals are bad. i looked in the compressor side and there is a little oil in the intake side. i contacted pj and ill see if i can send this one back. ive only been running it since dec and besides it sits in the garage in cincinnati most the time.
