ok so i went out today with my car and beat on it (drifting) for like a few minutes in this old abandoned strip. so anyways, i start coming home and i notice my car accelerates really really sluggish. like i can hear the engine working hard getting into higher RPMs but the car is barely accelerating. is the clutch slipping? the RPMs dont shoot up or nothing, they just SLOWLY go up. but i noticed when i left my friends house right after i went drifting that when i took off in first gear its like i was on the break at the same time. like i hit gas brake, gas brake, gas break, like the clucth slipped then it cought, then it slipped again, and then it caught really really fast. also i think the rpms shot up a tiny bit, it moved like 500 rpms at a time, instead of a smooth . anybody experience this before? mainly its the slow acceleration. someone had said that it sounded like a rotator cap ploblem/missfiring, but how could that be if the engine sounded smooth, it just accelerated like crap! help please !!!!

I might be wrong, but when this happened to me, it was due to a blown head gasket and over-heating. Of course I'm sure you would have noticed that, but just saying, it caused the EXACT same problem when my HG went bye bye.

it did it like 2 months ago, and then it kinda just went away. are these early signs of my clucth starting to go bad. it only does it when i just hammer away at the clutch for a lil bit. also when its cold i start the car in the mornings and it makes a weird sorta grinding/ spinning noise. i think thats my starter tho. should i just adjust the clutch pedal again? i did it like 2 weeks ago and it sorta just made the problem go away
