First time poster - looking for advice before I take it into a shop. I've had my 2012 Rogue for 6 years now and have never had to take it in. I've done basic maintenance - oil, tires, pads, battery - but it's likely I've missed something obvious (at least obvious for the mechanically inclined). It has run great for 90k+ miles.

Once or twice last summer, I was at a stop light and when it was time to accelerate, it just craaaaaawled through the intersection then suddenly jumped up to normal and I was good. I didn't see that again until this summer, now it happens regularly and I've found a pattern - if I've driven for a while (hour-ish) and it's warm out (70F+), when I come to a stop, it will behave this way - craaaawl for a moment, then boom - back to normal. Normal for subsequent stops on the trip too.

I've learned to anticipate the behavior, and I'm assuming with the change into autumn and winter I'll see it less frequently, but I think it's time I figured it out. Any help?

Did you change your spark plugs yet? That could be one of the factor; if not, please change them asap, because based off your mileage, those are overdue. However, this is most likely a CVT issue. Did you do a D&F (Drain and Fill) of the CVT fluid at all during your ownership? I would not recommend doing a transmission fluid flush, as that could make the transmission go out faster.
