Slow 240

Drove it this past week and it felt really slow. I would give it gas it felt like the e brake was on It died on me twice (Mt). As soon as i let of the gas it would slow down real fast, and smelled like burning brake pads. Later on my mom drove and said it wouldn't go past 20mph, and if you gave it gas it would just rev. Also i have bad oil leak I changed the oil Quaker state Full Syn. 5w-30 Thats what the guy at Auto Zone told me. It Seem like its coming form the pulleys because the leaks all the way at the front.

Sounds like you have a bad clutch and your front oil seal is busted.

well if it smells like brake, then a caliper might be seized, is the car a 5 speed or auto, check the transmission fluid (for the just reving problem) if its automatic but 5 speed it might be a bad clutch (not the siezed caliper), and if the car is leaking oil that badly I wouldn't suggest driving it around espically with no oil. There is probably something wrong with the pan gasket, did you remove it before?

its Manual and nope never removed the pan gasket. It has oil. The only thing i have done to it is tighten the e brake cable but then losend it because of that no it drives better put still leaks oil. And the car has 171xxx nothing to my knowledge has ever been changed except the oil. The previous owner rarely changed anything it had the orginal tires up untill 2001 then they were changed. the oil was rarely changed. Previous owner = my aunt and Dad know me.

Like I said, you have a bad clutch if your engine revs but doesn't speed up your car. And if you have oil leaking from around your crank pulley, you have a bad front seal.

Where could i get the seal from.

they should have it at autozone or kragen or whatever. It's called a front main seal.
