slow 04 civic si wants to race me

So I went to the gas station last night with my friend who drives a lincoln navigator, I was sitting there in my s13 and there were a couple ricer kids sitting across the parking lot, one kid had this 04 civic Si hatchback with this cheap looking exhaust and stickers. My friend eric was like, "rev on these kids"... so i reved my engine up enough to make the blow off valve go off pretty loud...

so that kid starts yelling stuff about how he will race me and that his car is fast. he obviously didnt know anything about cars.. he said his car weighed 2000 lbs. later that night i looked up the curb weight online and it is around 2700 lbs.. he was all like, " i got a full exhaust and headers and custom intake and my car has like 220 horsepower.. so i looked that up online and i think they come stock with about 160... i told this kid that we would drag race the quarter in commerce, GA in the spring. we told him to bring a lot of money.. little does he know that my car runs low 13's while his car is mid 15's at best. Most people automatically think that since i drive an old unpainted nissan that it is not fast. I told him he better bring something else in the spring or he would be losing his money.. he was like, i dont care if you have a turbo or "blow - out valve", it doesnt matter, ill still beat you, blah blah. i was like, dude, im running 13 psi, you wont keep up..

so i guess it's on for the spring, when we race im going to make sure he brings his girlfriend along, she'll probly be leaving with me at the end of the night.

My ricer cousin kept thinking his B16 swapped EG6 can take on my 240 and get this, from a 40mph roll because he says he don't have LSD and I do so it'll up his advantage. Well when I'm running 18psi on a S14 SR... he never even had the chance to look at my tail lights. Took him for a spin and uhh... if you are to do the same... make sure you have these ricer kids wear a rubber underwear.

I was running 12psi on a disco potato and I was SMOKING H22 Civic Hatches from a dig, a roll, and from a prearraged chase position (old road, he takes off, I follow, hit a long straight away and we both go WOT. If I pass, he loses) I flew past him like he had the car in park.

I usually started it because of my system. They would crank theirs up and then I'd turn mine up and theres is no more.So then the only thing they got on me is exhaust, and they begun to rev like a bee. To the point of where I snap and give into the race which only last to the top of 2nd gear.

You are right, for my story, I know my cousin is a big time ricer and never knew anything faster then his B16. He's a slow mofo. I never judge cars I don't know.

honestly, i love to burn hondas with body kits and tincans and huge wings,

BUT

about half the time i try to not let my adrenaline get the best of me and avoid a possibly horrible ticket. i would rather race an evo or something faster than that, something that will offer a good race for the risk involved.

if i had a dollar for every honda that wants to race me, i would be wealthy

focuses are also on that list for some reason. but beating cars like that really makes them feel more stupid than it makes me feel like i have a fast car. i already know it is faster.

there are fast hondas out there, mostly not streetable drag cars though.
