Yeah! I did it finally. I was leaving school and I was rounding a little right hand curve and just did a feint to the left and yanked it to the right, while dropping the clutch into second. I couldn't really hold it for too long though because when I came outta of the turn my cars rearend hopped throwing my balance off. I thought I did everything right. I totally was on the friggin gas after downshift. My backend swung out and everything, but split second later it hopped back the other way. Hmmm. It was a total rush however! Too bad there wasn't anybody there to see it.

Oh, I also did valve cover gasket today. ***** was leaking like hell.

You just have to practice and get better. You can read and people can tell you how to drift, but intill you go out there and practice your not gonna get good. If the car hopped back the other way it seems like you eased of the gas, or didn't give it enough gas. Also if your car is hopping your struts might be blown.

lol, watch that recoil... its ends alot of lives (240 wise)

seriously, imo: just practice, but I advise a parking lot. dont practice of the street or you'll be making ALOT of repairs in the future.. wrecked cars arnt fun, parking lot drifting is.

have fun

You kinda need a VLSD to control your oversteer unless you plan on only drifting on left-hand turns only and really sloppy all the time.
