I'm a first time poster, long time reader... anyways...

As the title states, I have a Zenki which has been lowered with Tein springs and Tokico shocks. When the car was first fitted with these new suspension components, everything felt tight and the ride was solid. Now, as I've had it for almost a year, everything feels sloppy and the steering responsiveness is down. Any diagnosis on what's causing this? I suspect it could be my bushings that have been mutilated by the stress of a lower stance, but that's just a guess. Any information would help... Thanks

When you lower a vehicle, it changes the suspension geometry- I'm sure you know that. I just got adjustable tie rods from SPLparts, and it helped so much with bump steer (that loose feeling on un-even surfaces).

Start replacing bushings too, it's kinda fun to feel the improvements as you change out the nasty stock rubber.

Yeah its probably worn components. Best thing is to get under it and check bushing, tierods, ball joints, and for shock leaks. The car is aged so parts tned to wear.

The good is part is LCA's, Tierods, swaybar links and bushings are cheap.

All of these previous suggestions are good, but I have a question: Which kind of Tokico's do you have?

I have the Blues and they did the same after about 6 months. An so did so other friends with them. If you have Blues, they aren't well suited for any kind of a drop IMO, and are probably on their way to blowing, like mine. Absolute crap.

You hit the nail on the head with that Tokico comment. After 6 months, it just came apart. I blew a rear shock in less than 6 months and the rest are barely hanging in there. A friend of mine had blues in his S13 coupe and the ride was fantastic for the full two years he had them. Suffice it to say, I really regret not buying coilovers the first time.

With the above suggestions, which one would give the most impact in correcting this problem?
