When I'm pushing it hard from a stop, I get a slip going from 1st to 2nd... I read that there was a TSB but I never actually found out what the problem was. I've got a 2000 GXE auto w/ 128k on it. Is there a time frame that you HAVE to have the work for a TSB done? And does anyone know what the problem was? I think this may be part of the problem. I've replaced the fluid twice now and I know it's all good fluid now. I'm seriously thinking of adding some Lucas transmission Fix into it to see if it helps. If anyone could help me out I'd be very grateful.Jay

go ahead and do the lucas. thats what i did to mine. whatever you do, do not do a transmission flush. i did that to mine around 160k and it wasn't a month later that my transmission took a dump on me. add the lucas, be sure not to overfill, and that should clear up that hard/slipping shift.

yeah, that's good advice. I know with the cooling system, if you don't regularly flush the system don't bother. If you do all the grime that was plugging up all the little holes all over the place will be taken out (since it''s an acid) and it'll open up all the holes and next thing you know you'll be replacing things left and right.Jay
