is it possible for my diff to slipp similar to how a finished pressure plate causes the clutch to slip?

how do i add oil to the diff? is it just to pull the bung and add or there is a special thing for the viscous part?

do you mean you lsd does not engage and your "other" wheel does not spin on "wheelspin"?vlsd is pain in the A$$ and acts strange. It can get hot on excessive and after that your vlsd oil (inside vlsd unit) is fcked. You can change oil that goes to diff carrier, that might help.Drain you current diff oil and fill with new. Ask Your seller for special oil that goes to lsd's.

also keep in mind that the point of a differential is to allow the wheels to turn at different speeds. All non open differentials are limited slip or work to that effect (helicals dont slip, but apply differential force to the wheels in a turn). so some "slippage" is required for it to work properly and not just function as a solid axle.
