I have a 2005 or 2006 Nissan Murano. Currently it is hard to start. If it cranks the first time it will die within 2 minuets. When I go to restart it, it is difficult to start. Then the slip light and VDC off light are on. What might this be?

Sorry about the issues. Can you get access to an OBD-2 code reader and check your car's computer? If so, please read us back your codes. You might find an issue with the camshaft position sensor. At least, that's what I've heard from others. Otherwise, you can use the Factory Service Manual to diagnose your issues. It's under "service manuals" at the top of this page.

My 2005 was doing the same thing and I got a code saying bank 1 camshaft sensor. It's the one to the back of the engine and left of throttle body. Cost me 66 dollars to fix and replace on my own. Easy to diy
