"Slip" light

The " slip" light came on my dash this morning
Whats the cause and how do i correct this

I believe the slip light illuminates when the tires loose grip. I've heard that it can also light due to loose battery cables or low brake fluid as well.

If it's on and staying on then get your cars codes read at an autozone or pep boys then post the code here or search google for what it means.
