i was driving on the higway and i noticed the slip light comming on (tracion control)
it was dry out and about 80 degrees. it would go off when i took my foot off the gas pedal. soon as i applied more throttle it came back on (blinking). after a about 40 seconds it went off for the remainder of the trip. the following day it came on again about an hour into the drive and also went off after a few mins. when the light comes on the car drives normal , nothing changes, still has power. did anyone have this problem ? is there a sensor going bad ? thanks guys

Laziness is no excuse! Not having an inexpensive scanner or *.pdf FSM means to most of us that you don't care and are not willing to do your part in vehicle repairs and mainteances.

Not like scanners are new since every vehicle made since 1996 has used the same type unit.

Very much like those that want to use someone elses tools or CARFAX.
These vehicles are complex and have 2000+ codes although the TCS only has about 40.

Advance Auto Parts was advertising 50% off all Actron OBD2 scanners last week in their circular newspaper ad...may want to check if it is still going on- their basic model retails for about $50, so you can get it for $25 if the sale is still valid- I have this model and so far it has worked great, but you can spend 2-3 times that for their fancier models if you want to.

laziness q45tech? you have some responce !
if you read my second post it says "i dont have access to a scanner right now". but maybe you cannot read !
So much for asking for help on a problem , this is the dumb comment i get of a serious question ?
Qship96, thanks but i have a scanner , but i cannot access it now, so i was just asking if anyone had this problem ! just tring to get some feedback !

****Sometimes i guess you get a jackass like q45tech to try and answer every question even when he has no idea about the topic ! he likes to see his post number go up ! just gets me pissed when you have to deal with stupidity, but you guys know this already with his 15,000 useless posts.
