\\thought I posted this already. Any way my 06 M35 has reared it head and tried to engage the traction control on dry freeway. The car has new kumho on all for corners and have 1000mi on them. I Have experienced the results of mixing tire brands on these cars. It dont work!!!! Having said that this car has a matched set of Kumho touring on all four corners I used to test drive for GM so I have a little seat time. My wife would get what evet she wanted as her daddy owned several dealerships and she would even have a shelby to drive when she was in ca as the kids did not know how to drive a stick. She even cruiseded Gt350 with a couple of snot nosed kids for a real tour during the riots. Ballsy gal 'So we are both cable drivers, and when the slip kick in and tries too drive this car its more than should be expected!

i think the gist of it is any problems with traction control, especially with Kumho tires?

]Posted the SLIP question, the day of my knee/nerve surgery. Doc loaded me up with lots of pills and 'sleeping pills also.Wife told me I was sleep walking and calling and talking to everybody like nothing. Except that I am loaded on prescriptions!!!!!Sorry for the cheap entertainment hope it did not offend anyone.

I have noticed several glitches/gremlins of late. When touching the brakes while in cruise mode I wil get a flashing of the missing speed icons????Auto Entry tends to get goofy and move the wheel an seat at random when the passanger door is opened. And Yes the slip engages going 65 mph down a straight, smooth and dry freeway! Now that Is a sphincter tighting event. Tires are matched KUHMO EVERISA somethingsl sure not a full blown competion tire, but the M is far from going into that venue. I have only experienced this wake up call when I had to replace the rear tires of a G35 coupe. The brand change threw the car in to a tantrum. When I entered the first entrance ramp to another freewaym it's at that time my car has decieded to try to swap ends because it does not accept the new tiresl From here on out I will install a 2" TRAILER BALL HITCH on the seat so I can cinch down and be prepared for this fun ride!!!!!

I wasn't offended, just confused... now it all makes sense!

Sounds like you have some crazy electrical/computer problem, let's hope it's just a matter of replacing one component to fix all issues (and that it doesn't cost thousands!)
