'm getting ready to swap and wanted to see if anyone had recommendations on a slim battery? i don't want to relocate.

Sizes are similar but the pc680 will be smaller. Difference will be in longevity and CCA. The 680 might give you problems in the winter because of the low CCA(220) whereas the optima is rated at 450 CCA. The big buy for the odyssey batteries is their incredibly high pulse cranking amperage. Pulse cranking(PC) is the first 6 seconds of starting, in which time most vehicles have ample time to start in.

So its def your choice on what you want to do.

thx for the help man. i ended up ordering a westco batt. specs: # 12 Volt Battery# 31 Amp Hours# 475 Cold Cranking Amps (CCA)# Weights only 25lbs# Approx Dimensions: 8in x 5.5in x 7in

once i get the battery then i can proceed with the swap. thank god!! its been a 2 year quest.

an XS power D/S 680 would also be a strong contender...

with 1000 "pulse" amps (if we were to rate it like odyssey) is stronger than anything out there in it's class
