Slim Ballast vs Normal Ballast

Hey guys i was just wondering what the differences are between Slim Ballast Hids kits and Regular ballast kits??? I am looking to change my Fog lights to HID on my M35 and Silveradohttp://www.xenonrider.com/images/slim-dual.JPG

Looks like one is slimmer than the other. I guess that would be the difference.

the slimmer ones are the new digital ballasts.they run cooler than the regular ones.those are the one's I used on my own car.

I used the slim ballast on my GTO and it's lasted for over a year with no issues.
