Ok at nippon motors.com, They said they would give me a rebuilt Ka24E for 895 with 12 month warranty slightly rebuilt. They said it has engine gasket set installed with new pistions and pins. And they regrounded the valves and new oilpump and bearings. Do you guys think it worth it. I can get a used ka24e from a company named attarco in sacramento that we bought a couple motors from, they a ka24e with under 55,000 miles for 795 free shipping. the 895 from nippon motors has a 200 core charge but i can get a complete ka24e in pretty crappy condition im assuming for 50 bucks. what im gonna do is buy the ka24e motor and give them that as a core saving me 150. so total would be 945.??? What would you do. And dont tell me sr it.

I would pay no more than 600 dollars for a low mileage ka24e. They are all over the place. Contact a show that does sr20 swaps, maybe they would sell you one of their ka's for cheap?

One thing, Everyone can a ka24e for cheap but what kind of condition will it be in. Why pay 50 bucks 100 or even 300 for a messed up ka24e not knowing whats wrong with it and when its gonna brake down. Now a rebuilt one for 895 with 1 year warranty sounds better to me. trying to save 400-500 hundred and buying a high mileages motor will only have you spend more money. having it put in and brake down in a year would really suck and cost more than 1500 for having it pulled and rebuilt and installed again. I know im going to get the rebuilt for 895 nobody can beat it and hell its totally rebuilt, saves me the time and money to have a shop do it and not warranty it. Thanks for your replys fellas.

BUT SIDEWAYZ...I WANT TO DO WUT UR DOING.. THAT SOUNDS WAY BETTER THEN HERE IN SOUTH TEXAS.. THE BEST DEAL I COULD FIND WAS 900$ AND A 3MONTH WARRENTY.. I WOULD RATHER PAY 900 AND GET A 12MON WARRENTY.. BUT NOW U KNOW THE WARRENTY IS IF U LEAVE THE ENGINE BONE STOCK.. AND NO MODIFICATIONS WHAT SOO EVER.. NOT EVEN INTAKE.. THATS WHAT I NEED RIGHT NOW ANYWAYS.. SO IF U CAN GIVE ME A NUMBER OR WEBSITE I CAN GO TO AND GET THAT DEAL.. LEMME KNOWJOE
