well. I was putting the Q up for winter and unfortunately i hit the rear with the trailer. Was sliding a bit much since we just got a fresh foot of snow. THICK wet stuff The hit wasn't too bad. Rear tire/rim was hit by while trying to load one of my winter beaters up. ya ya yell at me all u want, i had a buzz and been working alot lately so i was trying to do it quick. Fortunately no body damage but it moved the car about 6 inches. Took it for a ride and got some nasty vibration from the pass rear. Got an alignment but still vibrates slightly throughout the car from 40 MPH on. Damage do the control arm im guessing or possibley bent rim? any input would be nice.

crap stuck in the tire? if it was something serious it would be doing it at all speeds. I just had a tire "fixed" and have a massive vibration now, but mine dont occur until after 60mph or while making a left turn. I am about to move said tire to the back and do a couple of 360s to smooth it out again. Rotate your tires to narrow it down...You will always get a slight vibration after an alignment, I always do for about 300 miles or so. Then, yes you guessed it, silky smooth baby!

well the tires are pretty new. Have to rotate tires with my oil change this weekend. Never has vibrated this bad in the past. Just after the contact. It can't be stuff in the tires it only sat for like 5 days and it was smooth when i parked it. I don't have a day off until after xmas so i will check it out then. I have alot of things i have to do before i put it back on the road in the spring.

Don't way what kind of tires, butgood ones strong enough for a G50 often have nylon cords in them, and they don't take well to a cold set.

It could have put flat spots in em all....6 inch slide....could have stressed a wall in the tire too. That tire repair I was talking about; they put a black nub in it. Said nub is sticking out of the tread causing a nasty vibration over 60. I am gonna cut it down with a razor, move it to the back and light it up!!!

All that snow and sliding could have wedged something in the treads. We hope....good luck!

I did it, and now the vibration occurs over 85 with the tire lit up on the back. Oh well, at least I have a speed warning system now!

Good gosh Paul. You're NICO's living, breathing search function (you and Lino).

Have you considered Library Science for a major?
