slight problem...

I recently had a 91 Kade swapped into my 90 240. The thing is that now the car wont shut off even after I take the key out.

i have to disconnect the negative battery terminal and take out a fuse to make sure that the car stays off and doesnt drain the battery. what could be causing this problem? Ya think it might be my buggy alarm, or something else?

any help is greatly appreciated.

aight well i m no expert or nothing now what do u mean that is stays on like the motor wont shut off or the power to the dash wont.

for the power to the dash u might want to look at your iginition. it is basically a swith when it is in the on postion it make a complete circuit and then when u turn it off it breaks the connection and no more juice. it could be that your igition is bad an instead of breaking the connection when you turn it off the parts in the igition could be broken or something to that affect......... umm other than that i would say double check all your connection may you have a wire crossed or a short and it is cause it to stay on.

well, the car stays running even if i take the key out. Meaning the engine spinning in all its goodness. But thanks for your suggestion, I will check it out soon.
