Hi.

I am experiencing a slight hesitation – stumble, and very slight surging at low RPM’s when taking off from stoplights

My knock sensors need to be replaced, as the code 34 does not clear

I have cleaned the MAF with electrical parts cleaner and checked the connection. I am unable to check the resistance because I lost my volt meter (please see my other post and leave me a recommendation for a voltmeter)

My question is this is a symptom of bad knock sensors or something else?

Thank you for your time and consideration

I know what you talking about but knock sensors won't resolve it (at least I have seen somewhat of this problem after I replaced my KS). I would strongly recommend to put BG44K - it solves many problems including probably this one (no promises though ...). BG44K never hurts. I would recommend to try it first and then go from there.

Andre.

Could be a few things. Besides fouled injectors, how about the TB and intake. They should be clean.

And you will have an excellent opportunity to clean them when the plenum comes off to get to the knock sensors. Don't forget the harness and new hoses.

yall... I can look through my plenum and see my knock sensor and one of the wires to it is frayed off and not even connected... what is this doing!? Is it messing with my car any? THe code randomly comes into the computer every now and then though.
