Okay so here's the problem. When I bought the car off the original owner he said he replaced the exhaust pipe a year ago. Thinking to myself, "Sweet, one less thing to think about." Fast forward about 9 months. I figured the guy had put on one of those Auto-Zone specials that just never fit right since only 2 of the hangers actually lined up. Now I started up the car the other morning only to sound like a race car. I look near the muffler and see that the pipe and muffler are no longer connected.

So do I tear the muffler off, or leave it til it falls off lol. I do plan on getting an AM exhaust but that won't be for awhile.

What should I do? lol

if you don't have a welder, just take it to a muffler guy and have him toss a few welds on to keep it on. Shouldn't cost more than like $10 hopefully

Just one more dumb post and you win the grand prize! You've been a member since 2005 and you only have 9 posts?

To OP: You need to get your exhaust repaired or else people will hear your car before they will see it and immediately think, "That must be another one of these Honda Civics again." Now you don't want that weight on your shoulders do you? Your 240sx appreciates it!

Precisely why I switched to Circuit Sports... 3 inches of quiet sexiness.

Nothing wrong with that if that's what you're into. I kinda grew out of loud cars. It doesn't have to be super loud to be fast. I'm still N/A, but this exhaust on a turbo car would provide plenty of flow and be even more quiet. Win win in my book.

But hey, that not what this thread is about.

/end thread jack

I don't think you can weld the amount of rust that is plaguing my pipe.
