do i need to seek out a company to sleeve my block if i already have forged internals. i know that it helps make the block stronger but is it needed it i want to run 14psi daily and maybe 20-22psi on the 2nd boost setting. if so what company will do it because i know darton does not offer sleeves for the ka block.

No need to Sleeve. This is a Iron bock not a Alum. one. Ivan (turbo240)made 1000HP or so at the crank on a stock block. Well around there, so sleeving is not needed. Detonation is the killer on the KA engine. To run 20-22psi I hope you are running race gas or at least Meth/Achol injection.

The iorn block is your heavy friend, as long as you dont stick a rod through the side of it you will have no problems out of her. Like previously said, sleeving the block is something done with alum blocks, not so much with iorn.
