Check the 240sx.org faqs they show you how to do it there without the 90 dollar 'switch'.

I am.. or was.. workign on this. its shelved till i get other things taken care of.. Hella makes DOT approved low/high beams they are about 3" round.. I dont think a custom bracket would be too hard even from someone of my limited skill.

My car has the sleepy eyed look even though it hasn't moved in 3 weeks. I manually cranked em to where they are level so it gives me a nice flat surface. With my luck i'll be so used to seeing it like this that i'll want to do it when it gets on the road again :)

of course there's this:http://www.clearcorners.com/pr...wpro/but I'm sure everyone would agree that it is waaay too expensive and they don't even sell the kit, you gotta go to them to install it. But it's possible.

Yes you can if you do it right.

mine work up and down just fine. Cost nothing as well. I included a photo that is off topic, but shows mine. I did mine by adjusting the arm that comes from the light motor to the lights them selves. Just adjust them all the way out. No problem. You'll need to be creative with the light adjustment, but its not an issue.

No switchesNo buttonsNo getting under the hood to manually bring up the lights

Just turn the stalk.
