I rarely use mine, just for the occasional picture. If I am running hard on it, i will open them a few degrees as (I think) it forces ambient air down to the intercooler piping and in the motor...but as for the original question I do see them on other cars like MKII Supras, Mr2, and GTO's...

What can I say, I have a major in Math. I only see purpose, not looks (especially when it entails messing with factory settings of your headlights).

I've seen FDs and FCs with sleepy eyes. Actually, the first place I saw sleepy eyes was on a red FC.

That is EXACTLY how I want my 240SX sleepy eyes to be. The biggest problem I have with sleepy eyes is that when they are in the sleepy eye position the lights are angled down and worthless. I want to make it look right, where the "sleepy eye" mode is the one where the lights are fully on. To that end I want to figure out how to work the electronics where all you have to do is flip the lights on as normal, and they will come right up to the halfway position.

I just got my first paycheck. If I have money left over from fixing my car I may go grab a headlamp set from a junkyard and play.

so the "sleepy eye" mod for the 240sx isn't "in" anymore? lol... it seems like some of us are losing interest in the style.
