this is one of the cheapest and eazyest thangs you will ever do. all you got to do is pop the button thats on the top left side of your dash that is there to keep your lights up when they are turnd off you know the one with the light on it, anyway just pull it out cut the brown wire and tape it up w/electrical tape (just to keep it from shorting) and pop the button back in. now turn your lights on push your button once to keep it from going down, turn the lights off, tap the button twice quickly and they will drop and ketch tap it as many times as it takes

or another way I did it was, I removed the fuse in the fuse box for the motor and with that off, it wil never move up or down. So After doing that, I popped the cap off right by the headlight motor and twisted the little round thingy and it goes down or up from there. Good thing about doing it this way is that you can turn the headlight on or off while in sleepy mode.

Pull the button for your headlights(the one that raises them when they are off)out for the dash(just grab wiggle and pull it pops out) and cut the brown wire and tape off the two ends, done! It just makes it so that anytime you pres the button in the headlights wont lower...so turn the headlights on (or flash the brights realy quick) then press the button as the headlights begin to lower or search for sleepy eys in the archives...it might have more in the 240sx.org faq aswell.

pacesetter, very cheap. that was on my first car though. i'm on my third now. it worked pretty good but i only ran it for about 6-7 mounths when wet roads and bad tires and stupid me put her into a pole, so i didn't really have long enough to test the welds
