you can do it yourself by taking the caps off the headlight motor and turning the knob

Like Axel said, - cut the brown wire. You can do a search and there is a whole process on how to make it work.

If you want to use the knob turner, you have to unplug the motors (near the motor below) just trace the line.

Then you will be in permy sleepy eye if you do this way.

If you do Axel's way, you just have to be very fast w/ the clicking (you'll understand once you search)

Cutting the brown wire certainly works, but I don't think it is the cleanest way to do it. The ideal would be where you just twist the stalk and the lights pop up half way. It would be sweet if you could get it so that you turn on low beams you get sleepy eyes, and you turn on highbeams you get full elevation. If you even went so far as to find a way to reangle the lamps so that they point forward while in sleepy eye mode and not pointed at a down angle, that would be a complete job.

When I graduate and start working, I am going to pick up a set of junkyard popups and start playing with them. I already have some ideas on how to do it.

Search Search Search THIS. i put a switch inline with the fuse in the fuse box. simply turns off the motors or turns them on. BEST way to do it. search damn it!

I just don't think the "double tap the raise button" is the most graceful solution. I am sure there is a better, cleaner, way.

There is a better, cleaner way, and it involves a relay and a spare electrical wire. All instructions can be found in the big *** thread all about ghetto sleepy eye mods, which can be found using search

Or even skipping back a page or two, it's around here somewhere...
