sleepy eye affects lights?

anyone heard of this?i bought a S13 from someone who put on a sleepy eye switch and my highs actually turn off the headlights, one driving light used to work now i have no way of signaling a turn in front and i dont have the ultra cool driving lights...could the switch be the problem?

take a look at the write up thats linked on this thread. it shows how to clean your switch, that might work, but if not, id say go get a junkyard switch and see if anythings different

tried that today, didnt helpi pulled the driver side driving light and the harness was crimped and hacked together to the bulb housing. im guessing this is not stock..

a friend bought me the pivot headlight controller...we installed it ourselves but I have had little trouble with it. The only problem it has ever given me is that sometimes the lights won't go down once they are up if I mess with the manual raise/lower switch. Yanno, the one that doesn't turn the lights on, just toggles them up or down. Sometimes they get stuck up and won't go down (they still turn off) until I turn the car off, take the key out, restart and try again a few times, etc.

Check your grounds? I don't know what to suggest really, but good luck. Just going to share.
