Yall do know that you can get a rebuild kit for the master and slave cylinders from AutoZone for under $10 ea? I spent all of $6 to rebuild the one in my Datsun 620 truck, and its not that hard. Pretty much just a new boot, gasket and spring.

That works too. But if you like me and want to be more hands on rebuild it. Im the kind of person that prefers doing EVERYTHING to my own cars(hmm that might just be why someof them dont run worth a damn)

I live in an apartment complex.. and the car broke down at work in the parking lot in the sun, so I went with the less hands on and saved myself 5 minutes...

i remember hearing from a mechanic that if your slave is bad consistently, then you might want to replace your master. a bad master cylinder will make your new slaves go bad time and again

maybe there is still air in there... when i did it it took forever to bleed the d@mn thing.when you think you're done you might wanna get under the car and oush back against the rod on the slave to get some fluid back through the piston of the master, thats what did it for me

Ahh now comes the bleeding problems. I did this little trick. I removed the dmapner box (what ever the hell it is for i dont know) and bent the hardline to connect to the slave, thus making it VERY easy to bleed. Takes 2 people now, well i think most of yall know how to bleed the clutch so ill shut up now.

does it feel stiff though, like it would take a GOOD amount of pressure before it snaps. or does it feel frail like if your not careful when you bend it will snap?

The only way you'll break that line is if you're five years old with a pair of vise-grips. Seriously.

To break that line you first have to kink it, then bend it back and forth about ten times, it'll break at the kink. Of course, step one when removing the dampener is to not kink the line. Take your time, do it right.

Dampener is a pita with the stock clutch. Nissan put it there to piss us off.
