SO I have a Datsun 510 with a Ka24 in it, but my clutch had no pressure. SO I went under and noticed my slave cylinder was out of its shell. The rod connecting to the throwout bearing or whatever that rod connects to was long and threaded.I went searching for a slave cylinder for any 240sx, but all of the rods were short without threads. So I went on eBay looking for any kind of slave cylinder with a threaded rod. The only ones I saw were the ones for the Z's 1970-78. So when I install the slave cylinder and replace clutch line. How tight should that nut be on the rod. I can send pics if need be. Please help me out, I wanna repair this myself.

I stripped the 17mm clutch line to the slave cylinder, so I went to replace the line and of course I ran into another problem where my 18mm flare nut wrench is to small by the smallest of margins.(nut to slave cylinder-17mm, nut to clutch line-18mm)I don't want to strip the second nut, then I'd be F######!

The only Z to have the threaded pushrod is the 70 and early 71 240Z, all the others got a different trans, fork, and slave without the adjustable pushrod or external spring.
