slave cylinder problems?

when i push my clutch to the floor, it doesn't release and i can't switch gears. the master cylinder was empty of brake fluid when i got to my house. i pulled off the master cylinder and was goin to replace it but i didn't cause it is just fine, so i put it back on and have bled the system and now there is brake fluid all over my transmition...can someone help me? i think it is my slave cylinder but i don't know much about cars, so I need someone to help me figure out how to get it off and put a new one on.

Welcome to NICO! I moved your thread to the Maxima forums to help generate some more useful responses for you.

The slave cylinder should be held on by 2 bolts on the transmission and a rubber hose attached to it.

How exactly did you bleed the system? Did you bench bleed the master cylinder when you re-installed it? As in break the line going into it, have someone depress the clutch pedal, and then retighten the line before your helper released the clutch pedal? If you don't bleed the MC, you'll never get all the air out of the system.
