Replacing my slave cylinder on my 82 datsun (the same one that cranked after sitting five years. Surprised to say to the least) and I can not get that stupid hose off the slave cylinder! Its a 17mm nut that attaches the rubber hose from the clutch lines to the cylinder itself. Its not a regular banjo fitting like Im used to seeing. I couldnt even get the hose off where it attatches to the metal line on the frame of the truck.

Been strugglng all week with it. I hit it with some pb blaster and I still can not get it to break loose. Am I missing a trick to this?

Anyone know if NAPA will make that hose with those fittings in case I have to cut it off?

the napa hose I ordered was correct, just for future reference.

Found out the clutch wont disengage. Lifted the rear end and you can change the gears without pressing the clutch. Putting a clutch kit in this weekend.
