Was on my way back from a beer run when I pulled up next to a third-gen Camaro IROC-Z, red with t-tops and a definitely not stock exhaust system. Gave a glance over, got the glance back, and smoked off the line. Was just a hair ahead by the time I hit 50, he shifted to third and things almost got ugly. Thankfully that's when the Q hit about 3k RPM, and we all know what happens then... Beat him by about half a car-length to the next light, by which time I was at about 85 or so. Got a much more respectful nod. I think he was surprised by a sedan that quick. My roommate was giggling like a little girl the whole way.

NICE! The grille-less machine wins again!

Yep, and he wasn't a tool about it - I think he realized it wasn't just some ricer piece of **** once I got far enough past him for him to see the rear end.

Nice kill, nchopp. I just love seeing cars like camaros (ugh) getting their doors blown off by a luxo-barge. Must hurt, huh?

You would think so. I'd imagine thoughts something like "That thing has four doors, looks like a luxury cruiser, and must weigh a good 4000 pounds. What the hell...?"
