great job on being disciplined and saving for coilovers, and great job on lowering it right(with the exception of no RUCA's )

but how many different brands of coilovers have you had?????
greenmachine240 wrote:by far the cleanest coils for 1k
ow can you make that determination after installing only 1 set??????

I think my Stance's are great, ive heard nothing but good things from PBM's, a friend of mine has KTS's, ive ridden in 8 or 9 different cars with coilovers and they all rode near the same (all street driven cars), it didnt matter what brand they were, Megan, Tein, Cusco, Tanabe, Stance, KTS, even a set of modified Moton's, and GC/Koni

How can anyone make a real opinion on what the best set of coilovers is for (insert number here) price range after INSALLING only one set, i hate when people jump on the get this because its the best train when they have no real exprience with doing what these suspension components were designed to do, RACE!!!!

i would love to see someone wether its some random profssional driver, or a company track 1 car(an S chassis), changing only spring/damper sets, keeping all alignment settings the same, and determine what the best bang for the buck is, track and street, every aspect of initial quality, then we can search for what has hapened after X amount of time for a particular set, then make our own decisions on what to buy intead of relying on word of mouth about a product, from what ive seen, that has not much long term performance feed back

Congratulations on saving up for a while to get what you really want (even though you could perhaps get cheaper stuff).

Keep up the good work.

Too bad your car is 4-lug. A set of 350z wheels would like great on it.

Dude, you sound EXACTLY like me hahahaha, its almost crazy.

Im a senior and I basically did the same stuff as you, and im in auto tech too, anyways I was going to get P45R's too after I got my PBM Coils and Rucas but I found it really hard to find them in 17's/4 lug and the sizes I wanted so I went ahead and bought D2's +20 offset 17x8.5 and got 8mm spacers.I had to roll my fenders but they fit soooooo good, I will try and get some pics taken because Im running basically the same setup as you are except with rucas.

I like your car.

Because it was stock, but you bought coilovers.

Glad you decided to keep it stock until you could save for parts that aren't at the bottom of the barrel.
