SL iPod After Market Compatibility

I know, that subject looks a little cryptic.

What I am wondering is if any Double DIN after market HUs are compatible with the iPod cable plug that is on the SLs.

IOW - if I put in an after market HU, will it have a plug on the back that the iPod jack cable that runs out of the back of the compartment at the top can plug into - THUS allowing me to use the same iPod jack/cable provided by Nissan for use in the upper compartment.

Reason I ask is that if so - that would greatly simplify installation - just pull the OEM stereo, put in new one, plug in all cables and done. Which I can do myself, versus if I need another iPod cable run to the upper compartment, that's likely out of my league (but maybe not).

Does anyone have pics of the back of the stock SL head unit that has iPod compatibility? Would like to see what ports are on the back.....

esp rca outs, other outs etc.
