Going to be replacing my S OEM head unit soon and just wanted to get your guy's take on a few things.

Is it worth paying $100-150 to do the SL 6 disk changer swap? I dont really care about the 6 disk part but i'd mostly just be doing it for the aux input. Would i be getting more bang for my buck going with an after market unit? It's weird how things have changed these days, but I really like the OEM look of the car... 5 years ago the first thing I would have done is got the flashiest, guadiest after-market head unit I could find in there.

BUT, the more I look, the more I like the idea of doing some sort of double din blue tooth / navi / DVD set up (or any combination there of). I'd really like to get a back up camera also some day so thats something i should consider as well I guess.

Anyway, just wanted to get your guy's 2 cents on the subject, maybe see what you guys have... what you like.

Thanks

As much as I love my stock HU, you may want to go aftermarket.

Especially for the features you are looking to get now or in the future.

You're probably better off with an aftermarket unit. They have more power and capabilities than the SL unit does. A lot of aftermarket head units look similar to the OEM units. Plus the whole bluetooth/navigation thing is a huge bonus. Check out Crutchfield.com they sell all kinds of headunits, and their prices are pretty good.
