hey, just found this forum and its great. i spent 6 months in the usa/canada last year and heard alot about how adored the skylines are over there yet hard to come by. my family owns a car importing/exporting company here in new zealand and we deal in quite a few skylines so we are looking into selling some offshore. i know alot sell privately on ebay and the likes... still, seems like there is a lot of space for some reliable skyline resellers...so i am here to learn and admire the skylines. anyone with any info, keen to buy/sell/est trade relations - make contact.scott

I definately agree that there should be more skylines in North America. Send some my way. We can register them easily in Canada once they are 15 years old.

Goddamn Canada with their cheap healthcare and 15-year restriction policy.

Cheap my ***.......they pay for it with higher taxes. The stupid difference in cost of living is half the reason my boss can't talk me into moving up to Toronto.

Now, see, there you go walking all over my "I'm gonna be a stereotypical a$$ United States-ian" comment. Sheesh, it's getting to where a guy can't support a global misconception at all anymore.

good to know, good to know. we are looking into how easy it is to get them into canada. they're a good price here in nz so it should make it viable.

How much do they cost in new zealand?? The price range for an R32 GTR ranges from 10000 CAD for one that is a little rough around the edges, up to 16000 for a gorgeous one with lots of aftermarket goodies. I will be interested in bringing in a car for personal use in the springtime, but I want to try and avoid the importers that are already in place here. I feel that they have a stranglehold on the market.

So yeah, what kind of prices would a guy like me be looking at?
