I just searched this and I only saw one topic on it. I want to do a 300z brake conversion on my car since i'm doing 5 lug conversion anyways but its super hard to find 5 lug conversion for sale let alone 300z kit.I figure since I'm heading to japan, a skyline brake conversion wouldn't be a bad idea. How easy would it be to match up any of the skyline's brakes to an S14?are the skyline and 300z brakes related in any way?

if it works out, i can come back with a nice gift from japan :)

i think the zbrakes that people use are pritty much the same as R32 brakes.. as far as i know, but if you there, you might as well try to get r34 brakes :D or if those options are too much, get the 96+ silvia brakes

the silvia brakes from what i read or heard of the 96+ 180's or silvia's had bigger front brakes and dual piston cailpers

they are all the same except the size of the pistons. the S15 brakes that i have are the same as the z32. unless you get the GTR brakes then those are much nicer. they same brembo on the and usually are gold if they are the new ones.

but if he gets the gtr brakes then he'll have to run bigger rims with an offset that fits'em.

just get r32 or r33 brakes and you should be good. i dont think the r34 rear's match up.

have you held them in your hand? have you compared them side by side in person? do you have any facts to back this up?

or are you just repeating something you read some where else?

did you take into consideration that he is converting from 4 to 5 lug that he has to get different wheels anyway, regardless if what you said is true?

just wondering.

well here we go.

the stock S13 alloys will fit the Z32 calipers with some spacers on some models. that is what i have heard and seen in pictures. the Z32 calipers is the same on the S14/S15/R32,33,34 gts and lower models. the GTR models have the wording Brembo on them and the newest ones...R34 GTR use i think the same calipers as found on the Z33 and G35...just different mounting positions, again i think because someone tried putting the newest Brembos on and they needed specail mounting brackets. anyways the older Brembos...like on my buddy's car...are almost identical to the Z32 and fit in the stock location.

for the rears it is the same exact thing.
