I'm thinking of upgrading my 95 skyline r33's single stock turbo to a HKS T04Z turbo.. Am i going for the right option here? and is there anything else i need to change to the performance of my car for the new turbo to work efficiently without blowing up my engine?

Wrong forum, post in the RB20/25/26 forum ( zeroforum?id=135 ).

Anyways, you will want to upgrade you injectors and you will need to reflash/reprogram your ECU. You will want to install an A/F gauge too. I would do a boost gauge too. It would be worth doing a FMIC too. Probably want to get a boost controller too.

Cars are not cheap. It is even more expensive if you try and cheap out and mess something up. Then you have to pay to fix it and pay to do it the right way like you should have in the first place.

Yeah, I wouldn't just throw on a big turbo without doing all that other stuff.

You definitely want to flow more fuel, so injectors are a must, a bigger FMIC might not be a half-bad idea, the gauges would be good if the car doesn't already have them stock (it's a GT-R, so it might), and then you're going to want a tune. Don't skimp on the tune, it's everything.

But yeah, way more air/boost + no more fuel = Expensive Mistake.

yeah i figured most of that was probably needed. i alread have a good FMIC installed and of course the tune is a nessesity afterwards.. however i dont know how many cc's injectors i would need for this upgrade ? could you/anyone help me with calculating how many cc injectors i would need to go with this turbo upgrade..??
