So i was in the parking lot of my college today, and spied something, strange...

The words i saw were skyline, the car i saw..... was not..... Pictures are the only thing that can describe it. I wonder who this person thinks they are fooling? At first i thought it was a 350Z, then i looked at the front to see that it was an infinity.

in japan that is considered the skyline. but the us version is G35, just like putting 180sx stuff on a 240sx. some what

Right but the USDM isn't deserving of the title because it is not a G.T. I feel the same way about silvia, 180sx, and RPS13 badges on non sr cars. Just an opinion.

lucky7, you should know that skyline is a holy word and even though it denotes a commonplace sedan or coupe where its made and sold, use of the name for ANYTHING other than the god-made ultimate tuner car stateside is blasphemy.

no worries man. its just a japanese G35. same car. nothing extra special. people refuse to hear that skylines come/came in all shapes and forms. 2 doors, 4 doors, automatics. hell, the nissan stagea is basically a skyline wagon. they come in automatics, manuals, NA, turbo, inline 6, V6, etc etc etc. but the super jdm fanboys like our good friend redtop91 here cant seem to dissasociate the word skyline, with this picture:

which is sad, IMO. but thats how it is.

I hope you all understand the Skyline name was the base car the GT-R was the performance aspect of the car. I hope you dont get pissed in 08 when the GT-R comes out. The skyline name will be totally dropped because the Skyline and GT-R names have always been seperate titles just like SVT and SRT.

Yah nobody wants a 2+2 Z, so they put infinity on it and called it a G35. Gotta give nissan props for marketing.

Now put a GTR engine in it w/rwd and I won't care what it says on the back!
