What's the difference between all the RB motors? Also, which would be a really good one for a S14? I'm considering swapping, just not sure which engine.Thx

As far as the difference between the RB series motors I am not totally sure. I just know they have the common RB20 and RB25 (in skyline motor swaps) both of which are turbo. The RB25 would probably be the way to go cost wise but the RB26DETT would be my choice in motor. Its twin turbo and under the hood of an s14 would produce a ton of power because of the skyline weight vs 240 weight. I have put much thought into doing a skyline swap myself but getting the money is the problem plus finding a shop that could do it without messing something up or installing something wrong. Have you tried asking in the skyline forum?

The RB section of our forums might be a good place to start looking for info on RB's. Search though, the answer to all your questions can be found there.

i don't meen to be a jerk..... but honestly... DON'T.

Unless this is a car that is only going to be raced on a track droping an RB into your 240 is pointless.

If cops find out you will get a fine and make you take out your motor. If you don't take out your motor they will impound and crush your car.

How do i know this? an arizona 240sx owner was caught with an RB25 in his S14 and thats what happened.

Underground Motorsports (sponsor) has a downpipe I think that lets you keep the twins.

I didnt see your post duke money. This is my buddy I went to high school with. I converted him from wanting a gs-r to a 240sx. He's currently shopping around for one. Hopefully I'll be done with my de swap and turbo by summer and he will have a 240sx with something in it then. He seems most interested in the rb swaps. I'd check out the rb engine forum matt. Alot of good info there. Pics as well.
