Dunno why anyone'd put it on a ship, Skylines are worth more in the US than anywhere else. Everyone else (Asia, UK, Aussies) can just buy them legally/gray market.

More likely it's parts, which would really suck for the owners.

thats exactly why you would get it out of here. any jdm fan boy will spot one from a mile away. i don't think a car theif would like that. yeah its parts are worth some but its the pinnacle of jdm hotness. its worth more whole. yeagh you would get a whole lot of money for a legit skyline here but its pure profit for a theiff anywhere else. if its sent back to japan it just might legaly stay there because its legal there, here on the other hand its a whole diffrent ball game with it being a grey market item. i know i'm just talking out my arse but i feel really bad for these guys. i think is gone and the law(system) isn't gona give much help to get it back.

yeah that car was prolly stripped to the ground in 5 hours and the random parts being sold on Ebay.Because if i was the theif thats what i would do and then most likely a Plasma torch comes into the picture and the body panels all come off with aid of the plasma and the rest of the car becomes about 50 smaller pieces! Sorry dude i know former car theifs and im sorry but it does not look good for that Skyline (R.I.P)

That really does suck man, I'm sorry to hear that.

But, all they really could take is the engine and transmission right? And maybe a few misc interior parts like steering wheel. All other stuff is kind of useless in a 240. My guess is it was shipped back overseas and put up for sale.

Ya it was Mark's car, may it rest in peace....... And from when I was in the shop it had a lot done to it. Big Single Turbo, Sparco's, Rims, More Engine, and just was a beautiful car.......(tear falls.....)
