Try more like 111MPH89 GTR R32 wrote:IAs you may know 180kmh is only like 120mph.
Stacks are legal!89 GTR R32 wrote:Now the Sard stack meters are they really for off road use only or can I use them on the road and will it pass inspection that way?
no...it will read out like it would on a mph meter...which means that the 180 is actually 180 mph...its great...89 GTR R32 wrote:Now when you install this chip on the speedo does it make the 180KMH tranfer to 180MPH. What I mean is that the stock KMH speedo goes to 180KMH when you put this chip on it does it turn that 180KMH into 180MPH on the speedo.
Thanks man...happy to be here. I'm currently in Iraq for the next few months and this is one of the few websites not "Websense-d" by our computer Nazis. This site will definitely make time go by faster so I can get back to my wife and GTR.C33LaurelRacer wrote:Now that's what I call good info. Thanks Tim, great info you posted. Glad you are here and you can help us out keeping good info on our boards.
Welcome to the Family!

Werd dude. I'm not that far from Tokyo anyway. What duty station? Zama? I can't remember which base is the Marine base around that area.Okinawa_BNR34 wrote:

Here's another picture of the meter after it was installed and tested on the Wangan.Okinawa_BNR34 wrote:Looking for one of these?
This one is for an R34. Genuine Nissan Part. Made for exported GTRs bound for the UK. I believe they make them for R32's and R33's as well. I would contact Andy Middlehurst in the UK.
Better be carefull...the po-po might come lookin for ya doing almost 200mph...lolOkinawa_BNR34 wrote:

Ya I sent those guys over in the UK a email, but of course they have never replide.
LOL. No man...there's only one wangan. Me and my friend, Daniel went up there for a week to visit all the tuning shops. That was his GTR I was driving 180mph in. He ordered the gauge at Nissan. He called to the UK (the number in my first post of this thread) and talked to Andy directly just to get the part number. Then we went to Nissan Red Stage and just ordered it.C33LaurelRacer wrote:

And, they have a Wangan highway in Oki too....cool. Wonder if it's as nice and straight as ours between Yokohama and Chiba-ken?
Will not work on an R32. They are mechanical drive on the speedo.ecr33noob wrote:there is a unit that only cost like 90 us dollars that installs behind the gauge cluster and you have to wire it into the harness...very simple installation...i just did mine today and it works like a champ...look up this item number on eBay...290055257579
