I am looking for a speedometer for a Nissan Skyline R32 that converts KMH to MPH, but all I have found is face plates that converts it to mph. As you may know 180kmh is only like 120mph. I would like to find one that has been recalibrated to go to like 180+mph not just 120mph. Thanks.

hey i had the same problem, but i went to rhjapan.com and bought a Sard attack meter for $189. it reads out mph, takes off speed limiter(if it has one), 1/4 mile and will tell you when to change certain fluids. if your ever up in northern va. email me

Now the Sard stack meters are they really for off road use only or can I use them on the road and will it pass inspection that way?

Now when you install this chip on the speedo does it make the 180KMH tranfer to 180MPH. What I mean is that the stock KMH speedo goes to 180KMH when you put this chip on it does it turn that 180KMH into 180MPH on the speedo.

no...it will read out like it would on a mph meter...which means that the 180 is actually 180 mph...its great...

Thanks man...happy to be here. I'm currently in Iraq for the next few months and this is one of the few websites not "Websense-d" by our computer Nazis. This site will definitely make time go by faster so I can get back to my wife and GTR.

I'll be up in Mainland Japan in May - June timeframe with my car (ferry ride from Oki). I'll be visiting various places like Mine's, Top Secret, MCR, Zele International, Carest, Wangan, etc... Hope to get a chance to try Tsukuba. If you want, we can meet up. I have a few friends there. I'll be staying in Tokyo/Roppongi area...

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say: Dude! I am *SO* jealous of you!

As a fellow Iraq vet; keep that head down! Last thing we need is a widowed R34....(I'm glad I was there in 2003 when it was just a regular shooting war....at least with someone shooting at you, you can shoot back. These IED's scare the crap out of me.)

Werd dude. I'm not that far from Tokyo anyway. What duty station? Zama? I can't remember which base is the Marine base around that area.

Here's another picture of the meter after it was installed and tested on the Wangan.

LOL. No man...there's only one wangan. Me and my friend, Daniel went up there for a week to visit all the tuning shops. That was his GTR I was driving 180mph in. He ordered the gauge at Nissan. He called to the UK (the number in my first post of this thread) and talked to Andy directly just to get the part number. Then we went to Nissan Red Stage and just ordered it.

Will not work on an R32. They are mechanical drive on the speedo.
