skyline rear diff (rb25)

anyone know if i need to do anything special to get this rearend to work? i am thinking about buying one from a friend.

it was from a non ABS car (mine doesn't have ABS either)

i tried the search using all the terms i could think of.

also, does anyone know the procedure for how to pull the rear axels?

forgot to say that my car is an s13 that did not come equipped with an LSD from the factory
